Great piece! Looking at the photos, is that even the same building? Or was the wooden structure demolished and the brick one built? (could have retained the basement obviously).

Pretty sure it is the same - the brick is actually a front piece, the rest of the structure has siding. The window placement, the height compared to the building on the left, and the little ornamentation on the top all sort of match. The historian's piece I linked also said the building was rejected for historic designation because it doesn't look the same as it did when it was built.
