One thing that I'm surprised nobody has pointed out, or at least, I haven't seen it, is probably tons of SUVs that are marketed as great for off-roading, being a rugged adventurer, having no limits, scaling the Grand Canyon, racing through a winter wonderland coniferous forest, were stuck in the same traffic as everybody else. Why couldn't they just off-road around the crashes and get on their way?
