Kreme King in Pennington is not too far from my old high school. I'm relieved when--visiting my parents--I see it's still there. Cream King wouldn't be the same. The continuity of location and name feels somehow reassuring.
Love this. Daz-O-Del in Clinton (demolished and replaced by the McDonalds at some point) was my childhood place…in the early 80s…there also used to be a one screen movie theater over there
