Driven past this many times, but never thought to mail a letter! What a wonderful idea! Maybe a tiny post card from the tiniest post office?

I think there is an independent film to be made that fictionalizes that post office!

I also count USPS among my favorite government agencies. I wish we could get over the idea that it should be a self-sustaining business and not a public service. Nobody expects the Department of Agriculture or the Coast Guard to turn a profit.

So cute! I would have guessed the smallest was in the town I interned at over a decade ago: Rutland, ND. But it looks like they’ve got this one beat by about 4-5x the size! I tell you what, though. Every few years there’s rumors that the post office is going to close, and those sweet small-town farmers rise up en masse, contacting politicians and praying, because they know if the post office goes, it’s the end of the town. Now I feel like I need to go check this FL one out!
