Sometimes on Saturdays I write extensions of other pieces, or teasers of upcoming pieces. But sometimes I like to do something a little different and more whimsical. This is one of those: a story from my childhood in which someone might actually have meant to say “you ducking idiot.” (“Ducking” being the clean but usually nonsensical auto-correct of a certain other word that shares all but one letter.)
