Sometimes I take a photo and I say, “That’s America.”
They’re all different kinds of photos, because America is many things. But there are those images that capture something about us and our places and their layers and complexity, their uniqueness and their familiarity.
I’m going to show you a bunch of them today, in no particular order. After the photos, down below, I’ll tell you where they were taken.
